Colon Reflorastation

Colon Reflorastation is the introduction of healthy intestinal bacteria into the rectum which delivers it into the sigmoid area of the colon.  After one hour of retention, it will colonize the bowel.  Three days later, it will be stabilized.  This procedure is designed to reinforce the homeodynamic balance of the intestinal flora.

Benefits:  The primary importance of reflorastation is to restore the colon's bacteria to its healthy and normal state.  Many have reported an improvement in bowel function, including resolving chronic constipation.  It has given relief to irritable bowel problems, reducing pain and bloating. 

Possible Reactions:  In the first three days, 20% of individuals may experience a change in the color of the stool (yellow indicates a liver response, green indicates a bile response), presence of mucous or an increase in flatulence for a few hours.  Generally within three days, there is easier and more healthy eliminations with a reduction in gas and bloating.

Procedure Information:  The procedure involves self-administered reflorastation kits (contents include 4 oz bottle, applicator, lubricant, reflorastation formula, directions). The formula is mixed with a small quantity of water then introduced into the rectum using the bottle and applicator.  It it necessary to retain the solution for a minimum of one hour.  There may be a "false" sense of needing to move the bowels but it is easy for most individuals to retain the solution due to the small quantity of fluid involved.

Indications for Colon Reflorastation:  Individuals who have encountered situations that affect the balance of intestinal flora (antibiotic use, some prescription medications, exposure to toxins, food allergies, foreign travel, etc) may benefit from colon reflorastation.  Depending on the client's situation it may be recommended in conjunction with colon hydrotherapy or as a stand alone treatment.  In certain situations, repeated treatments may be recommended.

        Cancellation/ No Show Policy   

We understand that everyone occasionally has something that prevents them from coming to their scheduled appointment.  We recognize that your time is important and hope that you understand that our time is important too.  We have a 24 hour cancellation policy so that if you find that you are unable to keep your appointment, we can offer your time slot to others.

Missed appointments or canceling an appointment without 24 hours notice will result in a fee of $40 charged to your credit/debit card that was provided at the time of scheduling your appointment ($25 for a missed Photon Sound Beam session).  If the missed appointment is part of a pre-paid series, it will be considered a used session.
